Indeed the worst thing about this climate is how the late sunsets/light evenings are wasted on atrocious cloudy cold nasty weather. At least it was a bit better in the SE. May has been the stinker of the year of recent years weather wise.
Google chrome is SUCKING TODAY. It took me 11 reloads to access this forum .
That happens to me when my ISP is being retarded. It's likely your ISP.
I've used Chrome on my phone and I swear it bloody sucks battery like nothing else. Switched to Dolphin browser and it has better functionality and doesn't murder my battery.

Every single day at 12 AM, I get the Midnight Slowdown these days, where my speed is reduced to less than 1Mbps. I don't know what Comcast is doing, but my speed is always restored during the day, until midnight again. Must be some new maintenance period thing or whatever.
i dont know what happened to my iphone battery It was never excellent but recently my phone takes ages to charge, gets VERY HOT, and lasts less than 2 hours... sometimes it would say battery 88% and all of the sudden would drop to 71, or switch off at 20% :/ I'm sick of it... had this 4s for almost 2 years now and never had problems until now. Gonna get an upgrade next month but was hoping to sell this one once I swap for a newer phone but who's gonna buy it with a battery like that :/
Even my Android smartphone gets a full day of heavy browsing, music/videos and internet use and charges in 3 hours. Moderate use and I can get 2 days out of it. It'll go into powersaving mode at 5%, useable right until the battery dies.
The battery life on my old iPhone (4S) was terrible, but a lot of it had to do with Sprint's horrible 3G network. I always turned cellular data off when I didn't need it (on trains, theme parks, etc.) and the battery would barely drain.
My new one (5S) has much better battery life, but when I'm on 3G the battery drains faster than it does when it's on LTE.
