Well you can send all your sun over here then! I'll enjoy the heat but still cover my skin up as I'm so pale I burn in seconds. But I'll take that weather anyday.

Ironically though despite the sub zero temperatures here the sun is shining. Such that I had to close the blind. Looking outside I just pretend it's 25°C and imagine it's summer but it's a long wait

Come to Melbourne. No "terribly endless mundane sunny/dry weather", pathetic cold summers with constant endless stream of cold fronts every couple of days and more cloud and drizzle than even you could handle.

Beautiful cold nights! At least you will sleep well.
It's still around 30C with high humidity after 7pm , after reaching a top of 33C in the outer western suburbs where I live.

I would love a Melbourne summer. Highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s? Perfect! That 29 C temp is a bit warm, but isn't bad as long as the humidity is low.

Those Melbourne summer temperatures would be very normal in southern England.

Well, Sydney is four degrees further north and adjacent to a much warmer ocean.

You have forgot to mention so far this month our average temps have been 28.2C max and 18.1C min.

So we have had a week and a half of warm weather yet we get a couple of cooler days in the forecast and you make it sound like we live in the coldest city in the world.

Some muppets just love to whinge I suppose.
