its not as expensive as London tho (which is only 56 mins away by train)
ive seen plenty of decent rooms for rent for £85pw with all utulities included. As a student thats all i need, Most of students cant afford to live without flatmates anyway.

but even that £85 is much more than here. It would be £50 here. week bus pass is £9.50 for students s thats not so horrible either, in London its like £40 per week which is a joke.

Well you said you live like right beside the centre of London and I would've thought the houses were super expensive.

Yes I live close to the centre but not that close, I live in a flat in southwark borough which as a relatively high crime and poverty rate. However I'm staying at a cousins house in northolt in london.

there are relitevely cheap places in Manhattan too, but they are higher crime areas, usually heavily hispanic

im just scared that i wont be able to get any part time job there, so many students and they all want work
