When you start out, always lift very light weights first. Gotta get the muscles get used to having more movement and blood running through them. Don't lift anywhere near your maximum for 1-2 weeks
oh hell no. My dads been training for 35 years he knows what hes talking about and anyhow I hated it. Absolutely awful.
Every day for lunch for the last 6 months, I've had chicken and broccoli. I usually have porridge for breakfast, then nuts and fruit for mid morning snacks. Afternoon snacks is usually a couple of boiled eggs and a yoghurt. Dinner is either fish and chicken with either pasta or bulger wheat, and steamed vegetables.
I've never touched a protein shake in my life, and I'm around 225lbs at the moment.
As long as you eat and train correctly you will see gains. Just take it easy to begin with, let your body adjust to what's going on. My dad started training me to begin with and what I learned from him has been priceless to me. If you can get someone experienced to help you owen.

As long as you're not eating a vegan or vegetarian diet, you'll be fine (ever notice how scrawny looking those vegans/vegetarians are?). You don't need any of that protein shake crap
Yeahhh! I might actually have both on Saturday. I'm now hungry!
Hate you. Haven't had either one since I left the UK last June although we do sell Heinz Baked Beans in my grocery store, they are $2 a can though
