Yea but they dont get cold nights down there its too far south.

Exeter is further south than London though, and not too far from the coast.

This summer is annoying. If we're going to get a heat wave, at least make it a dry one. Having a deep blue sky with the sun baking the land is an interesting experience once in a while unlike a sticky, hazy mugginess.

English houses are horrible during summer, they cant handle the heat at all. a good house should be able to keep heat during winter and keep cool during summer... and thers no point in having air con here as summer is very short

i use fan in my bedroom at night now because my bedroom is like an oven in the afternoon, but not in their windows, just an inside fan.

houses are generally not shaded, English cities dont have that many trees in residencial areas... except wealthy neighbourhoods
