So far January is averaging several degrees cooler than December.
Those highs are our lows for the next week, even Melbourne's lows

I can understand your frustration, such crap weather in mid-summer would drive me mental Summer is supposed to be warm, it's supposed to have that holiday atmosphere, and such cool temps take that vibe away.

I don't melt until it reaches 50C Well it doesnt have to be blistering, but atleast it should be warm enough to actually feel like holiday weather.

Wouldn't enjoy it, just would be my limit of tolerance I reckon. We had a few 48's here in the last several years. I prefer my 30-35C days. Not to cold not too hot and great for pool/ bbq's parties etc.

Actually, despite my general dislike of sunny, hot weather...30-35 C does sound ideal for a pool party/BBQ.

48 C sounds miserable though. A/C's must be working overtime out there!

Imagine 50 C with Houston's humidity? I would be afraid to see what the heat index would be!

Next few days looks nice though. Highs in the 50s. Much better than a typical July day down there.

More garbage weather here for the next few days:

13 / 21 C
9 / 18
10 / 17
11 / 20

Meanwhile, supposedly subantarctic Melbourne is in for yet another week of warm (albeit cloudy and unusually humid) weather (lows in the high teens and low twenties, highs in the mid twenties).
