But note that Albuquerque is very much colder in winter than Perth.

The ideal climate in my opinion would be somewhere like Djibouti. Temps just right in July.

Agreed. I'll take anything below 70.

High humidity, heat, and sunshine is just downright uncomfortable. I get all hot, sticky, and sweaty after walking around for maybe ten minutes during the summer (or yesterday ). I feel slower and more tired as well. Even when I'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt, it's still uncomfortable. I would much rather walk around outside when it's 20 F in a hoodie and winter coat. I feel comfortable and warm with the layers and the air is fresh and invigorating.

No insult intended, but most of the time the people who state they like " sweater weather" the best are overweight people.

Lol

Well I'm thin and prefer "sweater weather". I like wearing jeans and sweatshirts. You can always layer up during the cooler months of the year, but there's only so much you can take off during the summer (unless you're at the beach or pool).

I like any kind of heat.. humid or dry... as long as it's over 80F I'm good....
if I had to choose one over the other, I'd probably say humid heat as it doesn't cool off as much at night

. I can see why you like cold.

I hate the feeling of layers and long sleeves (restricted motion )
but I usually don't care if I'm sticky. (...like today! )

Most of the time I'm sweating, my core temperature is comfortable. ( )
Too bad I can't get my core-temp to agree with my skin-temp.
But staying (mentally?) comfortable, core-wise, at 85-90 F when my skin is already sticky...
that's probably what prevents me from sweating enough to drip or sweating enough to soak a shirt.

Yes this is true, but not for me, I'm thin and love sweater weather. I HATE summer.

Hot and humid all the way.

One, hot and humid means it doesn't get cold at night. I like the few days up here when the low temperature doesn't sink below 68 F or 20 C. The perfect combination is dusk, 77 F temperature, and 70 F dewpoint.

Two, hot and humid spells are usually associated with atmospheric conditions that permit the reception of long-distance FM and TV signals. As this is one of my hobbies, I tend to enjoy heat and humidity, even if it's a bit uncomfortable.

Three, dry climates and me don't get along well. Acne develops on my skin each winter here when I spend almost all my times in the "indoor desert" of my Minnesota home or elsewhere; in the humid Minnesota summers, however, it clears up magically.
