Do you Single folks who get invited to wedding actually go there?

It seems like most people there are either married or with a significant other.

Do you think weddings are a good way to find a significant other?

How do you feel about your family and friends who are getting married and/or married? Considering that you are still Single.

Is there anyone here who have most of their family and friends married but you are still Single? How do you feel about this?

People go to weddings single all the time. It isn't a big deal at all. Obviously, you have to hold your own a little more, cause you don't have your date to occupy time during the slower moments of the evening.
I met a woman at a wedding once, and it turned into a 7 year relationship.

I'm not a huge fan of weddings, and the last one I went to was HORRIBLE.

My ex hated big events and refused to even go to my family birthday parties so I guess I never really had to worry about bringing a date because I never really had that option.

Since the beginning of this year, I've had 11 friends announce engagements so I have a feeling next year is going to involve a lot of weddings. Luckily, some of them are pretty awesome and I know I'll have fun. The stuffier ones I'll probably find a way to sneak out

I have gone as a "single" but had other friends who where there. So it worked out. The last wedding I went to might have been a great place to meet people, but it was just too packed. There like 500 people. Most likely more. And the friends I went with, we were exhausted because we went to a baby shower on the same day.

Oh well, next time. But I don't know anyone with new engagements at the moment. At least people who would invite me to their wedding.

The weddings that have been the most fun for me are the ones with the best DJs.

If you live in LA, take a highly-rated acting class (it'll be expensive). You'll meet and interact closely with lots of beautiful women and be one of the few straight, single guys there.

Why would a guy even want to take a date to a wedding?

Even if you aren't single?

What would be the point? An easy way to cheat?
