TANUDA, Australia, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- An Australian couple found themselves upstaged during their own wedding by their 3-year-old son, who interrupted the ceremony to announce: "I have to poo."

Gross. Better not to have kids at a wedding or have a nanny that can take care of that issue.

Here's an interesting tangential angle to think about:

You're seeing a lot of people getting married for the first time later in life (say post-age 35). Let's say two people over 35 who are both childless get married. While they have remained childless, a lot of people in their social circles probably have kids by the time they get married. So they might be faced with a scenario where someone else's poorly behaved child ruins their wedding by announcing that they have to poo. I guess if you are an older, childless getting married for the first time, and there are higher expectations of a first wedding after such a long wait for it, I'd think it would be wise to mandate that it be a child-free event so as to prevent things like this happening.

If it's someone else's poorly behaved child, they should be poo-pooed and shooed away.
