looking to find a place where my wife and I can come for long weekends on a regular basis from Washington DC. Play golf, tennis, dinners, and belong to a community that is fairly young 35-50 age range. Country club is preferred or a place in town. We're thinking Jupiter, WPB, Boca or Ft Lauderdale.

Would like to hear from those that have purchased a place with the same intent. Thanks

Frenchmans Reserve, BallenIsles or Mirasol in Palm Beach Gardens (just south of Jupiter). Good age mix, newer homes, and close to world class shopping/great restaurants. Easy freeway/turnpike access too if you want to shoot down to Miami or up to Orlando for a couple nights.
Summer is a great time to catch a good deal while the crowds are away!

Woodfield Country Club has a younger crowd; Polo Club is aiming for a younger crowd. Both offer dining rooms, tennis, golf, swimming and many other activities and both require a one time membership fee and annual dues. You can find more information at Marilyn Jacobs, and see descriptions of all golf club communities and which ones require mandatory membership.

Default PGA National

Hello Cutback, I have a place in PGA National that might work for you. However, it would only be for the off season as we are usually rented during the season (Dec-March) Contact me at

pgarental "at" hotmail.com

and maybe we can work something out. PGA National has great golfing facilities as well as other tennis/sports/spa facilities.

Thanks
