My husband and I are moving to Singer Island soon and come to find out, trucks are prohibited (which he has). I dont understand this rule other than the claim of tenants getting confused with whether or not its a worker's truck, which is absurd. Its a 2009 and not a work truck but either way, does anyone live on Singer Island and know some way around this or have some sort of plan for what they do themselves with this dilemma?

Is it Singer Island's rules, or your particular condo's rules?

If I were you I would get upfront guidance from the property manager as to what would they mean by "truck" (as in, work trucks vs. personal use pickup trucks).

It seems to be the rule for Singer Island in general but that's another reason why I'm posting this, to see if anyone knows of a place that doesn't have this rule or if there's a good place to park

Why would you want to live there if it is clear that your choices are not valued?

Singer Island is technically Riviera Beach.... which makes me believe it's an individual building by building restriction, and not anything to do with the island, so theoretically you should be able to find other options. However, I will let others with more experience with Singer Island condos speak to any options that do not have a truck restriction.

Most of the older buildings have those rules. I had a client with a truck and they ended up in marina grande. Not actually on the island though...
