Hello All! My husband and I are are planning to move to the Jupiter area next year. We are planning to rent for a year in Jupiter or surrounding areas to research and really get to know the area before we commit our hard earned savings down on a house. We are looking for a 3 bedroom for as cheap as we can find (around 2k?) so our money can be better spent on our new home. I know this is low but I have found it in a few places.

We are looking for a family community as we will have a 2 year old and new baby --preferably with a playground. We don't mind being outside of Jupiter (no commute as husband works from home), but close enough that we have a sense of the community. So far the closest I have found to what we are looking for were rentals in Evergrene in Palm Beach Gardens at this price point. Are there any other places we should research?

You might want to look at houses for rent in the North Palm Beach Heights area (or have they done the stupid name change to "The Heights of Jupiter" yet?). It's close to Abacoa but without the high prices, last I knew was zoned for good schools, and plenty of the houses are rental properties. If you are decent folks your neighbors will love you since so many of the rentals too often attract less-than-perfect tenants. If you do look there I would reccomend as far north into the development as you can get, and in all cases no further south than DiMond St. Avoid Barbara St. unless you want to live on the Las Vegas strip at Christmastime (it's one of *those* streets)...on the other hand if that's your kind of thing, then look on Barbara St. LOL.

Thanks for the info. Will investigate. We aren't too worried about the school zones as this point as will move before the kids hit kindergarten age. That being said, am v interested in being somewhat close to Tree Top preschool but it's on the north end of Jupiter.

not sure if the Heights will be your "speed" if you are looking to end up in a country club.
You may want to check out a townhouse in Abacoa or up your budget a little more and get a small house in the area. Evergrene would be nice for a rental as well.

Actually now that I think of it, I have read that North Palm Bech Heights is the most dangerous part of Jupiter. Is this true? With two babies that makes a mama bear like me plenty nervous.

We are looking also at evergrene to rent and maybe buy down the road. We're there often (with friends who live there) and it's amazing. I wish there were more communities like this. IF there are and anyone knows please post or dm.

Mirabella has a lot of similarities. Nice pool, gated, not to the extent of Evergrene though.
Evergrene probably has the nicest pool/clubhouse out of all the communities in the area. You pay for it in your dues, but if that's what you want there isn't much like it.
