I just looked at the site plans again (Salerno at Jupiter Country Club - Golf Villas: luxury new homes in Jupiter, FL ) and the original section of Golf Villas is now completely sold out and the new section that opened a few months ago has 16 sold lots (i.e., under contract / under construction). All in all there have been a total of about 170 Heritage Series and Golf Villa homes sales so far.

To answer your original question, we specifically asked for an extended delivery on the house so the kids could finish their school year. that's why it took 13 months vs. 10 months. We have 2 elementary school children and are looking forward to meeting other families with kids at JCC.
We went by your house the other day. It looks like it's almost ready for you to move in!! It looks lovely.

There are more and more families moving in to the community; I think you will all love it here!

I've been lazy about posting photos, and I figure anyone who's house hunting will go see for themselves if they're interested. That said, Google Earth finally updated it's images for JCC. Unfortunately, they're only as of January 2014. With the level of construction underway over the last 6 months, they're already terribly out of date.

And that's why my post was directed at CaliMom. She is moving into her new home here soon. Thus, my comment regarding her house.

(If you look at the quote marks, you'll see they were messed up a few pages ago. That said, I think it was obvious who my message was directed to.)

Don't know if anyone is still reading this thread, but I hope so... We are residents of PGA National and considering purchasing a house in JCC. I wonder if anyone can tell me anything about the demographics of who is living/purchasing there. We are a retired couple, mid50s-60s. One Jewish, one Catholic. Will there be others like us? We don't want to be the only house in the community with Christmas lights, or the only ones with a menorah! And we don't want to be the "oldsters" in a very young community full of children, nor surrounded by only old people. We want what we have here - diversity! Any thoughts?

Also how are sales? Will we be living in a construction zone for 10 years, or will it ever feel like a real neighborhood? Are home values doing okay? Appreciate your comments.

I can definitely say there is just something missing at JCC. There is an undeniable disjunct between the price and quality of the homes(good not great) and the golf club(pretty terrible). The level of service is average at best and the corners they cut beyond the service are pretty transparent. They had a HEAVY DUTY water pump work day and night for a week pumping countless thousands of gallons of water from underneath the clubhouse last summer. The place just smelled during that time. There is a odd relationship between management and the members of the club. It seems like nobody cares or really wants to be there employee wise. The place just lacks identity and personality. It's 8 years old and still feels brand spanking new across the board.
