Sorry I'm not an apartment person. Can't stand them, nice or not nice. I need elbow room.

I would also suggest checking the bus and train services for giving you the option of living farther out and taking public transportation that drops you off downtown or close to it. If your work schedules are similar there's no reason you can't commute together either. Or use a share a ride organization to carpool from elsewhere.

Here's all the bus routes. http://www.co.palm-beach.fl.us/palmtran/maps_schedules/

Default Apartment/Condo in West Palm Beach?

Wondering if you were able to find something that you liked since moving to West Palm? I live with my boyfriend in a complex formerly known as Villa Toscana - now Resort at Lakes of Laguna. If you're just starting out here, it's not a bad place to live, and you're welcome to email me, and I'll fill you in. It's not all that expensive for a one bedroom, and has nice amenities. Coming from the New England, this was my first experience living down here, since moving from there about 4 to 5 years ago. I never looked back. Hope you were able to find something nice...Welcome to Florida!

probably a bit out of our price range, but if you do decide you guys want to live in one of the nicer buildings downtown; I own a one bedroom at the Slade (1551 N flagler) I am looking to rent out.
