LMAO sorry for hijacking your thread but overall we had a great 3 years in Boca and really loved living there but THX is right for the most part we just never involved ourselves with those kind of people HOWEVER let me add that much of south florida or at least where there is wealth you will find stuck up, rude and well shallow people and really is not much different than boca...they all have their pro's and con's

yes pinecrest and st andrews are insane I must agree, and yes you are right there are SOME that certainly looked down at you and would think they are better than you because your child so to speak went to the local public school and well you know only the SMART rich kids go to private school..You know that is a thread in itself...lol However we were happy with the education our children received in the Public Schools in Boca..Now we are not private school kind of people even if we could afford to send them we would have chose not too

Of course, I just need a decent area with some cool spots to hang out....areas where singles mingle would help!

Know LI very well and what kind of people live there too...I grew up in Brooklyn and lived in Manalapan NJ and know all too well....

and most of the people in Boca came from LI, Staten Island, NJ etc...
