Take a moment and look at the attached video to see why you should lock your vehicles!!

This happened in the Rialto Development off Island Way in Jupiter. Perhaps you might recognize one or both of parasites that felt free to enter someone else's vehicle...

I thought Rialto was gated? Does this mean the thieves were residents?

Wow I can't believe that is Rialto. I currently also live in a gated community and had the same thing happen last year. They look for unlocked cars and carry the stuff out. They hit the whole community one night and they would leave stuff on the side of the road when they found better stuff to steal. I think it's because they walked out and could only carry so much. So much for gated communities!

Yes...Rialto is gated...and at least one of them has been identified as a resident. I am thinking of sending Channel 12 the video to see if they would do a story.

I wonder how their parent's would react to having Channel 12 pull up to their front door to do an interview?? What a thought, to have the entire community know your little darling is a thief!!! Maybe they would sell and move.

Been trying to find that out, but right now the Jupiter PD has the video and are following up on it. I do not think they know the identity of the 2nd male yet.

Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office - Booking Blotter
You can search here, by date/name or arresting agency. Jupiter can be tricky though, some of Jupiter is handled by PBSO and some areas by Jupiter PD.

What a great site...could not find any record of anyone being arrested for vehicle thefts...perhaps they are minors...or even worse...no one wanted to press charges!!!!

Tried to send you a point but I guess I've sent you one to many and they won't let me send you anymore??

That is why it can be tricky, if crime happened in Jupiter, but they live in West Palm then WPPD would have arrested them if a warrant was issued. Obviously if Jupiter caught them red handed then JPD would have made the arrest. Minors wouldn't be listed on that site but also remember to play with the date range because without an adjustment the date only spans one day.

Good luck and lock your cars or better yet squeeze them into the garage!
