Looking for tax advice / a good tax preparer or CPA in the palm beach gardens jupiter area (how much)

I have been using him since I moved down here from Brooklyn NY 4 years ago and he is the most knowledgeable person I have ever met when it comes to investments.
I loved my accountant in Brooklyn but when we made the move, I needed someone who I can sit down and have face to face meetings with. I am so glad I met Scott , he never seems to get annoyed at all the questions I ask him through email.

A good CPA is like a good Dr. You don't question his bill. My CPA charges me more than I pay the IRS every year.

The first place I went to do my taxes was HR block. It was because they were the only place I ever heard of, so I figured, whats the difference? The lady that did my taxes was very sweet and very courteous. However as a few years went on, my web businesses started to really take off. I needed real financial guidance not only tax preparation.

I went through a firm and connected with a real financial advisor. The difference was night and day. I could not believe all the stuff the HR block lady missed. I paid more, but I got more of my money back, so really I ended up paying less. I wanted to hold on to my financial advisor so much because of the amount of money he was getting back for me. I even followed him as he started his new firm because I had built a relationship with him and a strong level of trust.

When I made the move to florida, it was hard letting go, but telecommunicating just was not doing it. So I found Scott who was just as good, if not better but much more friendlier. Really, how friendly your financial advisor is does not matter as long as they do their job right. Scott being a wonderful person is just icing on the cake, but the job that he does and his knowledge, I would stick with him even if he was not so friendly, so long as hes doing his job as good as he is.

Scott is in full control of my investments, and while it helps greatly that I got in when everything was at its lowest, he has never given me any bad advice and he has never been pushy at all. He has never made me feel like I have to do something. He simply explains why I should do such as such and then lets me make the ultimate decision which I think any good financial planner should do.

As far as pricing, I honestly couldnt even tell you, because he does my personal tax returns for free since I use him for my investments. He charges me for my business tax returns and I can tell you that according to internet estimates, he charges me much less than the national average for business returns...much much less. But again, I have all my investments with him so obviously thats a factor.

Give him a call, you will have nothing to lose just to talk with him. Go with your gut, call other places as well and go with who you feel comfortable with, because thats what it ultimately comes down to.

I would strongly suggest you stay away from the chain places, most of the workers there are fresh off completing some 5 hour course and really lack experience.
