Hi, we are looking to buy a home in Martinique which is part of the neighborhood of Abacoa in Jupiter. In this particular neighborhood they have pet restrictions but can't find out what that exactly means. Also is the area mostly young families or retirees or both?

I believe pet restriction is no pets over 20 lbs and no more than 2, however it is best to contact the homeowners' association as rules can change. There is a mix of ages in all of Abacoa. A lot of young families are attracted to the area because of the schools and relative affordability. Also the area is close to shopping, entertainment, family activities and medical.

no, you can have large dogs, you might have an issue with aggressive breeds. But two large dogs shouldn't be an issue.

Realtor should be able to get a confirmation from the listing agent. Perhaps one of these people can help Martinique HOA Contacts

Skylinet is correct. The restriction I mentioned was a for a rental so it was the property owner' s rule. There are no weight restrictions on the dogs. The nubmer of cats and or dogs is restricted to 2 in all of Abacoa.

Just spent a week there and saw people walking Golden Retrievers.
