Moving to Palm Beach County Area - Need suggestions please!!! (Miami: foreclosure, homes)

Moving from West Broward to Palm Beach County Area. Would like to get settled in by July. Originally raised in Miami and have no idea of where to start looking for a home. Daughter of 11 yrs old is priority for finding the [right] area for her Middle and High School years. She is dancer of 7 years; very outgoing/social in school; loves being involved in school activities; advanced level classes. Only child at home and want to be sure I move to a 'family-active' area with optional activities living nearby school. Older siblings are married and live in West Lake Worth corridor. Would like a fresh, comfortable feeling area on the edge of hustle and bustle. Any suggestions would be very welcomed!

Why not the West Lake Worth area? Some good schools there and close to your other kids.
Wellington is nice as well.
Do you have a price range or certain size home you're looking for?

West Lake Worth is not out, just feel like it is 'old' when I drive through. At the risk of sounding picky - would like Ranch Style split style living (or if 2-story master downstairs) - 4-5 Bed/3 Bath, open concept for kitchen/family room; pool; Cal de sac; waterfront. Price range from 400-500. No zero lot line. If gated community nice common areas.

Oh, and husband would like 3-car garage or detached garage is his dream!

There's a few homes that match pretty much everything of what you are looking for in the Isles at Wellington. It's gated so you can't just go drive around but it's West of 441 on Lake Worth Rd.

The Isles at Wellington is among the nicest communities around and has a great location 1 mile west of 441

Grand Isles also is decent,

this just listed and is a foreclosure and is a bargain price

11711 Windsor Bay Place priced at $419,950 , 5 bedroom 3 1/2 bath single story with 3 car garage 3400 sq ft, has pool and lake view. Does not show photos but I can tell you not to worry if it needs work because a move in ready identical home in this community would be priced at $599,000 or higher

4677 Island Reef Drive is a 5 bedroom 3 bath 3 car garage with pool $464,999 , also priced very well.

to give you an idea 11269 Mainsail Court is similar home same community but mint move in condition with lots of upgrades, and priced at $650,000.

If you can grab that foreclosure at $410,000 or so you would have $90,000 for updates and for $90,000 you can add all new floors, new thigh end kitchen, 3 new baths, new moldings throughout etc, basically you can re-do entire interior
