Any known issues? Flooding...wood frame issues...etc?
Good buy for the money? Seems a rather unique blend of lot size and water access for <$600k.

Eagles Nest and Whispering Trails next door are both similar in lot size, architecture and build materials. Bigger lots (1/2 acre +/-) and late 70's-80's-early 90's built. Older homes are wood frame and newer were concrete block. As far as boating, EN has it's own boat ramp on the river but honestly the size of the ramp and subsequent parking lot is going to limit your boat to about 25 ft max. If you are really talented behind the wheel you might be able to launch a 30 ft boat at high tide. I wouldn't make the boat ramp the deciding factor.

Imperial Woods is a little further down the road and they offer slightly bigger lots (1 acre).

We're looking at 20-24 ft bay boats that can be kept by the house, so the ramp is fairly perfect. We probably spend more time paddleboarding anyway...

Seems a good location. To have water access, I can't find much else with water access that gives us much room. We've looked at TCC (just not our vibe), Bermuda Terrace (houses/lots too small), Rio Vista (never much for sale/small), and non-ramp communities with access like Shady Lane/Bayview Terrace, etc.

Having lived in Abacoa for 6+ years, we really wanted to make the water a bigger part of our lives. (And have a real yard) That's the whole reason we're here...

.5+ acre lots, roomy home, water access and good schools - are we missing anything we should look at?
