Addison Mizner vs. Del Prado vs. Verde Elem Schools in Boca (Boca Del Mar: elementary schools, live)

Dear parents of Central and East Boca, I desperately need your input here. I need as many reviews as possible about these three elementary schools: Addison Mizner, Del Prado & Verde. My daughter will be going to 1st grade this year. We are moving to Boca from Sacramento, CA and now my main dilemma is which school to choose for her. Also, can we go to either one of them if we settle in Boca Del Mar area? Or they are strictly by the zip code? Thanks million!

My oldest will be going to kindergarten next year so I don't have experience with the schools yet, but I can answer your question about where your daughter will go. It is strictly based on where you live unless she's gifted. If she's gifted and you're zone for Verde she will go to Del Prado instead. You can also try applying for a school outside your zone, and if there's availability she can go there (this just started this year). This is called reassignment and you can find more info here https://www.palmbeachschools.org/cho.../reassignment/. I've heard great things about all three schools. You may also want to checkout AD Henderson and Morikami. Henderson's and Morikami's admission is based on a lottery system. Feel free to DM me. Hope it helps.

Thank you for letting me know! I am glad we have a chance for reassignment just in case! I am also looking into Henderson & Morikami - thanks for suggestion. We will certainly apply for a lottery... Who knows?!
