Hi!
Looking for a little insight. This summer we will be relocating to Florida from NY, and we are looking st Delray Beach, Boca, and possibly Parkland. We have 2 children who will be in elementary school and preschool for the 2017-2018 school year. We are looking at Seven Bridges, The Oaks, and Parkland Golf & Country Club. We are moving from a quiet area upstate, and want to be close to shops/restaurants, so we are thinking maybe we should rule out Parkland. Any insight would be helpful! It's easy to find great information on all of these communities, but that's all marketing...we'd love to hear some advice from people who live in the area.

Thanks in advance!

Parkland is pretty far West and is a small town, don't get me wrong it's a nice area but if you want to be close to a lot of shops and restaurants Boca and Delray might be better.

Seven Bridges is in Delray despite their inclusion of the words Boca and Raton in their advertising. The Oaks had an issue with Chinese drywall at one point so people tend to shy away from purchases there somewhat.

If you can come down and check out the schools and speak to people and really closely study the school situation, that would be great.

I do not have school aged children but when I did, I sacrificed the house to send them to private school in NYC. Nothing is more important, in my opinion than the children. Houses come and go but you only have just so much time to educate and steer your children toward the correct path in life.
