Anyone know anything about this townhouse community? Looks nice and is Pet friendly which is rare in Delray area. Called Tuscanny on the Intracoastal in Boynton Beach.

Thanks

The community may look nice, but east Boynton is g h e t t o.

They're trying to clean it up, and maybe in 10+ years it'll be ok..

The realtors on here, trying to make a buck, will tell you it's nice. Be careful.

That part of east Boynton is okay. It’s near the fire station and east of Bethesda hospital and medical offices. Seagate of Gulfstream and Colonial Club are right there and are well-maintained ( and full of older people) as they have been for years. They are hardly “ghetto”.

The neighborhood just north of Woolbright and west of the tracks is not near Tuscany. The apartment building on Federal and Woolbright is not “ ghetto.”

When you get further up by Boynton Beach Blv and Ocean it starts getting weird but that is not near Tuscany. And there is a new apartment building on Federal. They’ve just earmarked a bunch of money for downtown. But Tuscany is not near downtown. It is at the end of 23rd south of Woolbright.

The old Winn-Dixie on Woolbright and Federal is going to be demolished and mixed-use project (condos and storefronts) will replace it.

I’m not a realtor . I just deliver the mail .

There used to be a fabulous orchid nursery on that site. And all the cats ( felines, not the orchid species) there were black and white. Sad to see that go.

Must admit I use "ghetto" loosely.

That being said, there's no way I'd live in that area.
They're doing the best they can to improve it, but it's still going to take a few years.
