Hi everyone,

I currently hold a brokers license in New York and I am moving to Boca Raton in about 5 months.
Since I love what I do, I would like to get my license there too.

Can anyone recommend where to take the 63 hour pre-licensing class work? I know I can take it on line here in NY, but I am heading down to Boca for a month so I figure I would take a class.

And I read that I do not have to take the entire state exam, just a 40 question test on Florida Real Estate Law. Not sure if this is true.

If anyone has any information to help guide me, that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure who will hold my license, will have to see where I fit in best.

Thank you

Gold coast is one of the better ones.
Dont remember if NY is reciprocal or not if it was I'd just take it online since the test would probably be pretty easy.
They have a cram course too for exam prep that is recommended

Thank you for letting me know about Gold Coast. I will look into their locations.
NY is not reciprocal with Florida. With some many New Yorkers down there, you would think it was.

I've been toying around with the on line class, maybe you are right.

Cheers!

Take it in person. Also buy the online cram tests, they really help.

Yes, you have to take the entire test. If I were you, I'd just get my Florida Brokers license instead of the real estate license. It really isn't any more work.
