9am is rush hour
noon is lunch hour
1-2pm is still busy for some reason
3-pm parents pick up children from school
4:30-6pm is rush hour

Late at night, it's less crowded, but most roads are also sparsely lit.

I feel like there are little pockets of time where you can drive (i.e. 10am on a tuesday), but overall, it's not driveable most of the day.

What days/times do you find most enjoyable to drive?

There has been a significant uptick in traffic in Palm Beach County since 2020…that certainty can’t be disputed - I find Friday’s to be the absolute worst.

It's seasonal to some extent. Florida gets 138,000,000 visitors/yr., and this is peak season.

I lived in SE Florida in the early 80's (40 yrs ago) before it got like this, & I have family in Jupiter & St. Lucie West, so when I come over there to visit, I'm shocked by the number of lanes I-95 has, and how its still jam packed in-season.

The seasonal traffic & population density are Two big reasons I chose SW FLA to retire to, & not nearer my family members.

In ~6 weeks, you'll notice the traffic begin to die down as the snow birds head North. A lot of seasonal leases end March 31st.

What part of PBC are you referring to? I just spent a week bouncing around between West Palm, PBG and Jupiter it was laughable how light traffic was and easy it is to get around compared to Miami, Orlando or Tampa.

Apple meet Orange…You were in Gardens and Jupiter, one of the most lightly populated areas of Palm Beach County with completely different commute patterns - Try anything south of Lake Worth, Boynton, Delray, Boca from 7:30 am to 10 am or 4 pm to 6:30 pm and witness a significant pickup in traffic.

You clearly are using tourist areas of Orlando or popular areas of South Tampa as a basis for comparison. Why not do the same here?

Donald Trump is sick & tired of the traffic in Palm Beach too, so he's pushing for flying cars. That will solve these problems...eventually. For now, they are for the top 1%...if local laws allow them.

I lived near a Doctor who had a heliocopter & pad at his home. The County required he have 5+ acres, & a permit. He's fly to work each day, and land on top of the Hospital. For urban living, choppers make more sense since they can take off & land vertically.
