what parts of West Palm Beach are nice? There is a place in Jupiter called the Empirian Cove that looks decent. Anyone know that place? Thanks

Haha no reason, we're open to all options! Stuart, Jupiter, Port St. Lucie, Jensen Beach looks nice....I just want a safe place with people our age and is close to the beach

Check out these listings:

North Palm Beach (close to Palm Beach Gardens, which has lots of younger people, and not too far from downtown West Palm Beach): Rentals - 143 YACHT CLUB Dr # 7, North Palm Beach, FL, 33408 - Realtor.com (http://www.realtor.com/rentals/search/listingdetail.aspx?ctid=198&ml=3&mxp=17&bd=2&typ=4 0&sid=d8ef0f1e5ac34dc1aa36fc438ba41e8b&lid=1099436 615&lsn=3&srcnt=10#Detail - broken link)

Palm Beach Gardens/North Palm Beach/Juno Beach listings:

Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Real Estate Listings and Palm Beach Gardens, FL Rentals for Rent - Realtor.com (http://www.realtor.com/rentals/search/searchresults.aspx?ctid=198&ml=3&mxp=17&bd=2&typ=4 0 - broken link)

My suggestion is if you find a listing, take the address, google map it, and then use "street view" to check out the surrounding areas if possible.

ALMOST anything in Gardens/Jupiter/Juno/North Palm Beach will be safe, nice, and close to the beach.

For proximity to "young people" I'd suggest the Villages in West Palm Beach, and especially downtown West Palm, but rents there (downtown) typically start at 900 at a minimum.

Port St. Lucie and Stuart are safe and cheaper, but slower paced. Port St. Lucie is huge in land size, and you may be close to the beach or not, depending on where you end up.

Just as an update, I googled the location of that first rental listing in North Palm... it's an older condo, but it's got a view of the water and is very close to the beach and PGA Blvd., which has tons of amenities and stuff to do.

Are you coming down at any point, or are you going to try to do all of this sight unseen?
