We live in Boca Raton near Mizner Park and Royal Palm Plaza, living here for only 2 years we've seen many restaurants come and go. Lately though many have closed up.
I've searched for a list on the internet but couldnt find any. Does anyone know them? It's come to the point now that when we plan on going for a walk in either place to check things out we dont know what to expect to see closed...

Mizner Park - Closed
Mark's
Heard max's grill is on the way out

Royal Palm Plaza - Closed
Nostalgia
and many others that I cant remember the name....

this is the sign of things to come. The country is in a recession....heading to a a very deep economic meltdown. People are NOT spending like they used to. This Holiday season will be in the dumps. Coral springs, where I live for the moment, has seen restaurant after restaurant shut down. Things are going from bad to much much worse. Only the very strong will survive.

Smile Restaurants closing

The restaurant business is harder than you think. It would surprise me though with Max's Grille leaving Mizner.

A couple of weekends ago, it was around 8 pm - we tried to get into 5 different restaurants on a Saturday night and then again on a Thursday night - over 30 minutes to an hour wait at each one. We gave up.

Yeah, about Max's, shop owners said that last week they made appetizers and were walking around mizner to all the shops giving them away, which they've never dome before - a worker at one of the stores told me that they were experiencing really bad times... Whats the name of that Pizzeria "Red Rock" Coal fired pizza, they closed up a couple of months ago - theyre behind Royal Palm.
