well cls, i moved from pompano to delray a month ago. but my situation is a lot different from yours. i was looking to buy a home. i settled into the nw area. ive been drawn to delray for the arts. also in my late 20s.
if your looking to rent i had checked out Waters Edge condos a while back.

Default Delray is great but you should also consider Boynton

I am a resident of Delray and while the general perception is that Delray is for oldies only... it is not really true. My wife and I are about 30 and love it here, we live in a new community (built in 2005) and there is hardly a single senior here. The community is has mix housing of manor homes, town homes and single family and there are a few units available for rent/sell. Having said that.... I can tell you Boca is the expen$ive, Delray is middle of range and you get more for your money in Boynton. Also boynton is newer town of the 3, so the demographics is younger and you will still be very close to your job as well as Delray downtown. You didn't mention you intend to buy/rent, but if you want I can run some numbers for you to give you an idea of what you get for your money... Please free to PM me.

Good luck
