West Boca Raton is a good area to raise kids. A bit boring and time consuming due to the long street lights to get to 95, but very safe with good schools.

You would have to go to Atlantic Ave in Delray for a real good night out.
Mizner Park in Boca Raton is a good night out as well but with less venue choices. Of course 1 40 minute ride to Las Olas in Ft Lauderdale or a 60 min ride to SoBe is where you will find the heaviest nightlife.
