We are a young couple looking for a neighborhood in Boca that isn't super quiet.. Somewhere that is nice and things to do (restaraunts, bars, shops etc..) We do not want to have a lot of elderly neighbors and if anyone can reccommend a nice, CLEAN, properly-priced apartments or neighborhoods it would be a big help!

The title of this thread is a great oxymoron. Even the young people in Boca are elderly.

Stay east for any nightlife. Might do better in Delray.

Ok I realize there may be a lot of elderly in Boca...but then there is the FAU population of over 20,000- people under the age of 23. They must all live someplace and go somewhere...

Hi,I am young 31 and live in Boca. Moved here from MI. There are a lot of older people more so in the winter when the snow birds come. Delray though has a lot as well but have heard from this board there is a cute down town. How much are you able to afford and what type of place meaning condo, apt, home? To me one can drive to areas like Ft Lauderdale,West Palm etc if you want to as it is not that far on a weekend for more of a night life but you could live near work. If you want shops, restaurants etc in Boca how about near Mizner Park? They have condo/apt rentals.

I rent a condo that is 2 levels and a group of I think 4 but not in Mizner. I think many condos in Boca in the same complex have both highrise and not. Where I live it is like that. Have you looked on craigslist or realtor.com?

Vistazo townhouses is decent community with half young professionals (late 20/early 30) and half with FAU students. Good area, nicely appointed, 1.8 miles from the beach, straight shot up to Delray Beach nightlife, etc.

Boca is a GREAT place to live, but as far as young nightlife - you will need to go elsewhere.
