Moving to area - input needed for specific apartments and their areas

Las Ventanas apartments are each quoted individually depending on location within the building. When Las Ventanas quotes their rental prices, the quotes include the free rental months prorated over a 12 month lease. Many other complexes quote in a similar manner. Make sure you are understanding their quotes by asking a lot of questions. Also, I found that there can be many add-on costs to the monthly rent such as manadatory valet trash service and water service which is paid directly to the apt complexes with your rent check. These are all ways to allow them to advertise a low rent but in the end you will sometimes pay much more than the advertised cost. I was personally very disappointed in Las Ventanas when I went to see it. The pictures on their website were beautiful, but the "in person" visit did not live up to the pictures. Make sure you ask to see an empty apartment, not their model. It's very close to the beach but is in a urban redevelopment area that is not appealling at all and the railroad tracks run right up against the west side of the complex.

I moved into a two bedroom with attached garage at Quantum Lake Villas on Tuesday and LOVE it so far.

Locatation to 95 can't be beat. Crime looks to be a nonissue, as there is gated entrances, a guy driving around on a golf cart for security, and it's set way back from the main road.

The apartments outside look nice, it's primarily families back here with kids riding around on bikes/etc, nice environment. My apartment itself is huge and way exceeded my expectations, and it's an ideal apartment for a pet because right outside my front door is an extensive and somewhat private grassy area.

Location is perfect for me too. Delray/Atlantic Ave is like 10 minutes south, Jupiter (where I may have to work occasionally) 30 minutes north, and I went to a Marlins game Wednesday and the stadium just north of Miami was 50 minutes away. Ideal centralized location for my specific situation.

Hi, just wondering if you are still loving Quantum now that you have been there a few months. I may consider that property. I wonder if anyone knows anything about Olen Management?
