Hello to all PBC CD'ers out there, I got a quick question. I currently live in Fort Lauderdale, but am thinking about taking a new job in Boca Raton. My questions are as follows:
-What is the single scene like in Boca? Would I be better off commuting from Fort Lauderdale instead of actually living in Boca?
-Is living in East or West Boca better for a single guy? What are the pro's and con's of both
-What are the cool hangouts? I've heard Mizner Park is nice, but I've never been.
-I'd like to buy a house in a year or two. Do you recommend any housing communities in Boca (east or west) for someone with a budget around 350k?

Hey How-Boca has an ok to decent night life. Mizner Park and Royal Palm Plaza in downtown both have a nice selection of bars and restaurants.
Really you want to go to Delray Beach (Atlantic Ave) to get the real good night life. about a 8-10 minute drive up federal.
East would be the better spot to live. There is a nice rental community right in downtown called "Mizner on the Green". I lived there for about a year then bought a house in central Boca near the town center Mall. Also a great location.
While I like to go to Las Olas once and a while I think Boca/ Delray is the much better lifestyle.
