Mediterranean Kabob House in Delray is Turkish staffed and run, it's as close as your going to get around here. It's a compromise, it's like going to Turkey and desiring real good soul food, good luck!

What? Guanabanas is Island Food, not Mediterranean.

I mentioned the three hour wait primarily because of the great reputation that Guanabanas has, probably wouldn't want two Mediterranean restaurants in same town. If it can attract that many people you already have a built in market, people will come if your food is good!!

Except that again Guanabanas it's not "Mediterranean" cuisine. The only place in North County that has Mediterranean cuisine is Aladdin next to Home Depot on Northlake, a few Greek places and that's about it.

I think you are confused...

I understand what you mean, but I would expect someone straight from the homeland to still cook like in the homeland. I went to Tarpon Springs before and I cannot believe they think that is Greek food, I even spoke to a manager about it and she even stated she knows it is different, but that is just the way we do it here.

I will just keep trying, I am going to hit up all the spots mentioned in this thread.
