My wife and I are looking into buying our first home in Palm Beach County. Does anyone know which cities in the area have a younger community? We plan to start having a family soon and would like an area with great schools as well. We are moving from Israel, and a young Jewish area in Palm Beach County would just be ideal. Another important factor is the job market. A city with a good job market is important. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it, thank you!

Each city has a mix of ages! The particular neighborhood or area within a city will usually be more important.

For what it's worth, you might like the downtown Delray Beach/historic Delray Beach area. That will keep you close to both young people amenities, and Jewish amenities in Boca.

The job market throughout Florida is not good at all unless you work in healthcare

I'm a CPA.
Does it seem to get any better, or the other way?

If you have a job now I would not quit it to move for no job. I feel that way about any state unless there is a specific reason. How happy is a place going to be if you can't make ends meet? South FL is not cheap and unless you have a lot of savings your money will go fast.
As for areas I agree it is mixed in terms of age. You may want to look at East Boca which I heard is younger cause many parts of Delray and Boca are older. Jupiter,Palm Beach Gardens, and Wellington too.
