when are you moving in?

I like Cincinnati and plan to move their one day. I'm more familiar with the east side.

I pay 795 a month for my place, includes water and basic cable tv. 5th floor with elevator, overlooking intercoastal/singer island areas in North Palm Beach. This is a fairly cheap place for the size of it, and a nice view. Safe area as well. I'm moving out soon and if time is right it might be a place for you to look into.

I know it doesn't meet your price expectations, but its a hell of a bargain for what it offers. You won't find a lot of good stuff here for 700

32sho, that's a real good bargain! Especially with it including water and basic cable.

Looking for apartments in a nice area close to Palm Beach Atlantic University. I am not familiar with West Palm at all so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

low income/ high cost of living? Seriously? I live in NYC and the cost of living is OUTRAGEOUS here. So. Florida, WPB sounds sooooo affordable to me! I guess it depends on where you're coming from. I live in a TINY 1BR apt for $1700/month! I can get 2BR, 2BA near the ocean in WPB for $1250. Sounds like a dream to me.

I have lived in South Florida all my life. I was born in Palm Beach County. I don't know anything about Ny as I have nver been but from what I hear it is very expensive. Florida is by far cheaper in terms of cost of living. What type of work do you do? I can tell you that the further South you go the more job opportunities but it is also more expensive for housing. Florida has great beached and parks. Be ready for HOT HOT and Humid summers.

MT7, I see you speak positively about WPB. Can you tell me where it is safe to purchase a condo or townhouse there? I have a realtor but he doesn't really know WPB well. Some of the addresses I am concerned over are Carvelle Drive (Sierra Bay), Palmbrooke Circle (Palmbrooke Townhomes), Via Palm Lake (Palm Lake condo), N. Haverhill Road (Grand Isles Condo), The Pointe Drive (Paradise Cove at Palm Beach Lakes Condo), Executive Ctr Drive (Clear Lake Club) which I think you spoke well of earlier. Any of these I should avoid? thanks!

I toured a condo with a friend at Grand Isles once, didn't like the community.

That's the only one I have personal experience with. But, based on surrounding area, however, I personally would not be fond of Carvelle Drive. Paradise Cove is in the Villages, as most of your other options, except Clear Lake Club. The villages is where I always suggest as a decent area for more affordable apartments.

Also, Clear Lake Club is right on the other side of I-95 sound barrier wall, so if noise is an issue for you may not be a good issue.

Why use an agent who is not familiar with the area you're interested in?
