Hello we are relocating from the Northeast for my dh's job. We will be renting first to make sure the change is a good fit for us. Anyway, does anyone think Jupiter or Wellington has more activities for children? Thanks for your input

When thinking about Palm Beach County, it's best to realize that every town pretty much abuts every other town. What you can't find in one town may only be a short drive to another town.

What is an "activity for kids" to you? sports? skate parks? roller rinks?

Playgrounds, ballet, gymnastics, the zoo, bicycling, running trails (that one was for me) kid friendly restaurants (we have a playground in the outside dining area here, which is great! We love the beach so that is a good thing

I am less familiar with the Wellington area, but to me the Abacoa area of Jupiter has got a lot going for it. Trails, skate parks, playgrounds, the beach, etc., Jupiter outdoor center for rentals of kayaks, boats, etc., a turtle center to learn about turtles, indoor playground at downtown at the Gardens.

I do know Wellington is very close to Okeeheelee Park, which has a lot of various activities available, from horse riding to BMX bike trail, to paddle boats, to a dog park, trails, a wildlife center.

The zoo in Palm Beach County is in West Palm Beach, right next to a childrens' science museum. There's an ice skating rink in Lake Worth.

All cities will have options for kids to enroll in sports, ballet, dance, gymnastics, cheerleading, etc.

There's the Lion Safari in Wellington, there's a waterpark in Wellington and another in Royal Palm.
