I recently had a small interview in Boca, where would a 30's guy live? a clean nice area ideally near the beach( doesn't have to be). Are there areas nearby that I could see big name concerts shopping an occasionally the bar?

Would I have to live in a different area to get all that and commute to Boca for work? I went to Lauderdale in January for a different interview the area I saw by Broward Health I didn't like it at all, no offense but I didn't like Las Olas

or is there a nicer part of fort lauderdale, I am willing to afford 200-300k for a condo. I want t have money to spare

is West Palm too far away? or would living in west palm be better for a guy like me and then going to work into Boca be better?

If you don't like Las Olas check out Delray or even West Palm. 2-300k will get you a nice townhome/condo within walking distance to the action. Keep in mind most of the condos (especially in West Palm) have pretty pricey, $400+, a month condo dues. Townhomes are usually considerably less, but you might lose some amenities.

West Palm will put you about 30 minutes or so to Boca. Delray is only 10-15. Either one will put you close to good nightlife, shopping, restaurants, and not far from live music venues.

Being a 30's dude myself, lol, I would probably go for a townhome by Atlantic Ave. Close to the beach, lots of nightlife, and it wouldn't be far from work for you.

There was a similar post to this a day or two ago if you look back.

True, but I wanted to make more of a concise post. Is Boca for older folks? I cant tell if west palm I would like more but its too far away. it says like 28 miles on google maps but I cant tell if the commute would be horrible. and not worth it, something tell ms I may like west palm more but I want to minimize driving. so that's a tough one

Is Atlantic avenue the entertainment area, are ther dance clubs? nice restaurants etc? I have never been there. I am used to Large HOA's. in vancouver I paid 450 and we got concierge that smoked outside all day and got fired,a pool table and an multigym which wasnt that great.

So maybe delray beach is closer and more affordable? is Delray nice and clean area? and the typical beach town?

Obviously before buying I would check both out thoroughly and or rent for 7 months or a year if you still have concerns.
Atlantic Ave is the main strip of Delray, lots of restaurants, a couple night clubs, and a few little shops. A lot of the nice townhomes are a couple blocks from Atlantic and also only a mile or so to the beach making it pretty convenient. There are other areas of course that offer things to do in Delray.
