We've tried Stonewood Grill, Pangaea Bistro (newer restaurant, so sorry they stopped Sunday brunch), and Howley's Diner (which is really in West Palm). Any other suggestions for morning breakfast/brunch out with the family on the weekend or a family dinner? We're trying to stay away from the Applebee's, Chili's, etc., but we seem to draw a blank on weekends for different places to go. We've maxxed out on Jason's Deli too which is right across the street, even though it's very kid-friendly. Thanks!

P.S. The closest place we've found for a fantastic brunch/lunch is in West Palm again - The Paris Bakery. Best crepes I've had in a long time and filling!! Wish they had something like this in Wellington!!

Mamma's Kitchen on Lake Worth Rd, just east of Turnpike and the Deli House, just east of Mamma's Kitchen (on the north side of Lake Worth Rd.), Westside Bagels and Strathmores too.

I think this place is under rated mostly because John G's was next store...
Welcome to Benny's on the Beach

Link ^ They have one of the only ocean front views and great food (delli style) at average prices.

Mississippi Sweets BBQ is great at 441/Lake Worth Road (next to Bonefish Grill, another good choice).

Not a big fan of Stonewood, been there a few times and had mixed results.

Strathmore for brunch, but arrive early and be prepared to wait on Sundays. The close early, like 2:30PM typically but the selection and food is excellent as are the portions which are large.

Gabriels, get's busy on weekends but has a good selection.

Mississippi Sweets which is way better than PA BBQ.

CR Chicks on South Shore, always good and economical

Joe's American Bar & Grill in the Wellington Mall

La Fogata Tex-Mex

In Wellington - Player's Club has excellent food and service, but pricey and White Horse Tavern (not really a tavern but a first class restaurant). BTW, Stonewood is our favorite with service, prices, and consistently good food. A hidden gem is Devine Bistro near the mall, never crowded but the BEST food.

I know the owners of both PA BBQ and Mississippi Sweets and you are correct you cannot compare the two. PA BBQ is fast food, MS is lunch/dinner!

Mississippi Sweets does a disservice to true BBQ....NO Smoke, reheated, flavorless.

For bbq, Troys in Boynton on Federal and MLK or McRays on 45th, for breakfast-brunch, Country Inn on Military, south of Lake Worth rd... Bennys is overrated, Dunedeck is good...
