I just came back from Juno Beach (I have family there). If you're looking for something to do that isn't outside, you have to check out A Latte Fun. It's located at Downtown at the Gardens (right by the mall where you're staying). I have 3 year old twin boys who had a BLAST there this past Friday night. Also, Downtown at the Gardens is really neat. It's like an outdoor mall/restaurant type of place. They have a great ice cream place called Sloane's (it's expensive, but worth at least one trip!).

I second the turtle hospital. It's free, but they do like a donation. It is run solely on donations. My kids loved seeing the turtles they're rehabbing.

Have fun! I love the area and am already missing it and I've only been back home for 2 days!!!

If you see this message, I would also check out the Burt Reynolds petting zoo in Jupiter Farms if it is still open. If you feel like taking a half-day road trip then drive out to Lake Okeechobee which is about 1 hour each direction from Jupiter and you can see alligators by Port Myaca.

In Jupiter there is a beautiful inlet called The Jupiter Inlet which has 3 rivers that fork. The water is very blue. You can do kayaking excursions in the Intracoastal Waterway.

Tell me a little bit about the beaches in Jupiter and Juno. I am big beach fan. I am intimately familiar with the beaches in Southern California (LA, OC, and San Diego)
Would you say that the beaches in Jupiter and Juno is cleaner and beautiful than the SoCal beaches?
It is nice normally BUT last year we had a record Dec 14 was 32 degrees and Jan 10th was 32 degrees.
Really really cold!!

West Palm Beach:
- Average 12-day temperature of 49.9 degrees between Jan 2 and Jan 13 is lowest on record for any 12-day period (previous record 50.9 degrees set from January 16-27, 1977).
- Set new record of 12 straight days of lows at or below 45 degrees (previous record 9 set in Jan 1956).
- Tied record of 12 straight days of lows below 50 degrees (previously set in Jan 1956 and Dec 2000-Jan 2001).

Come prepared with warm clothes just in case we get a repeat.
You will not want to be on the beach if this happens.
The Malls will become much more interesting to you then.
