Hello Everyone

I been looking at Single Family Houses in the BR area and have notice that there are a lot of for sales homes in the St. Andrews Country Club. Does anyone in the area have any thoughts why? Looks like a nice area even though some of the homes are close to the Freeway (noise) Did these home owners buy at the wrong time?

thank you

81 homes on the market out of 739 homes isn't terrible in today's market. Only 4 are short sales. Over half of the 81 listings have been on the market for over a year (most are two years) so you have a lot of properties that are priced on the higher side.

Are you looking for a country club community? If you are not a golfer there are other nice neighborhoods with out the high lower dues if you don't need a country club/golf.

Some of the near CC you don't have to get golf but you do have to buy the club social plus equity. It is less though then St Andrews.
In terms of noise yes in some of the areas you can hear I think it is the turn pike. It will depend on how the wind blows. Also for some reason it is at night or middle you hear it so if you want to purchase I encourage you to see if you can go by late.
