Wealthy Wellington is seasonal (when the horses go, so does the money) but the Ghetto Fablulous Wellington is year round!

WPB is the same, just change horses to snowbirds.

Not a true statement, there is money in Welly World year round. The Ghetto is alive in well along the 12th Fairway and Shoma amongst other pockets here and there.

Yeah there are more permanent residents then there was 10 years ago, its definately over crowded during season, not just crowded. The horse vans are coming in now, the out of state and country plates are prevalent.

Is Shoma really that bad? Even the gated part? I almost bought a condo there when I first moved to PBC a year ago. If so, I'm glad I decided against it.

It's not Paterson, NJ or the South Bronx in the 70's, but it's not Mayberry neither. They have a lot of issues and it's Section 8, which doesn't always mean everyone is bad. Also a few Sexual Offenders residing there, just do a search on the FDLE for "Shoma Drive", then you will get a taste of the clientele.
