Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what the average approx. income is for those residing in Delray?
I was contemplating Stuart.... however Delray sounds as if it might be closer to home (Jersey) in the overall feel of the place.
I'm looking for the same energy level, growth, along with the arts/entertainment, etc. .....something similar however "without" the winters....

I'm visiting from 9/27 to 9/30....any suggestions are welcomed.

LOL, Check the city-data site itself: //www.city-data.com/city/Delray-Beach-Florida.htm. As for something similar to NJ, I wouldn't put it on the same scale as I assume you are talking about the NYC influence. It is a developing town and it does have a good energy however.

I haven't lived in NJ, but l do live in Delray and love it. It has beautiful downtown, nice restaurants, bars, cultural events and a 'not so touristy' beach. Feel free to IM/email me if you have any questions in particular about the area or housing etc...

Average income in Palm Beach County is $40K/year. In Delray the median incomes are based on years of experience, from $32K up to $66K. Finding a good salary here is based on luck and industry and of course who you know.

For jobs you might be better of working in Boca... since they have more corporate presence. That way you can live in Delray and work in Boca (5 - 15 mins drive in most cases)

when you guys talk about average income being 40K a year, are you referring to household or individual income?
