First of all, your asians population question is silly. As if Koreans, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese all enjoy the same food/activities.

Its like saying, how many whites are in this part of South Florida.

Answer you question, there is no ChinaTown or Little Tokyo in Miami or WPB. Very few "Asians".
The main issue is groceries - most cities have a few Asian themed grocery stores that cover most of cultures. I'm not expecting to find anything Vietnamese specific (which is what my wife is). It doesn't matter whether they're Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese - if there is a large concentration of any Asian culture in one community, the food choices will be adequate enough for our needs.

For those who were helpful, thanks.

Tranquility doesn't exist in South Florida!
Especially during season!

There are asian markets but you won't see them concentrated in one area like in other cities.

What I don't get is this: if for the next fifteen years you're going to only be spending one month a year in South Florida, why don't you stay in hotels or an efficiency for that month--even a mid-level hotel is going to be cheaper for a month than taxes, maintenance, etc. on a home for a year--and get to know the area far better over the course of the next 5-7 years at least. That way you can spend time in a number of different places and easily figure out what the best choice will be for you.

My suggestion would be to spend a week or two at each destination, stay in a nice hotel. We are moving from Chicago to Jupiter, this is a huge move for us because i am "Asian" too and i love city living. I don't think there's a lot of diversity in Jupiter but we do love other aspects of "smll town" living (new home, pool, son can ride his bike, community feel, etc). We plan to leave for the summers so we'll get our fill of city living then. Check out Jupiter Country Club
