Hello all
I have family in Arizona, North Carolina and Florida. I plan on making a move to one of them next summer. I love all 3 places for different reasons.
Does anyone know how the job market is for LPN's /RN's in Florida?

There are positions open throughout Florida if you are experienced, but you must be willing to take the not so desirable shifts to get your foot in the door.

FL is big in health Care and so is NC we lived in charlotte for 2.5 yrs before moving to Boca....Either place you would be fine although Im not sure salaries if you would make more in Florida than opposed NC but both are great places...

Thanks for the reply. I would be in the Wilmington area in NC. I want to say wages are a little more in FL though. I plan on doing a bridge program for my RN so I have to make sure either place has that to offer.

Many colleges in FL are beginning to offer new bridge programs. Competition to be admitted to these programs is fierce but as more and more programs are added, this should help.

I have family in Arizona, North Carolina and Florida. I plan on making a move to one of them next summer. I love all 3 places for different reasons.
