My husband and I are planning a move to the Jupiter area in the coming year.

We currently have a 1.5 year old and another one on the way. Does anybody know the average yearly prices of daycare or preschool full time?

We are trying to work out our budget to get an idea of our monthly expenses.

Thanks!

$700-$1200 a month for pre-school. Really depends on which school you choose. I've noticed tuition has still been going up every year even in this economy.

It probably would be cheaper to have someone come to your home while you work since you have to kids. If you qualify you might be able to get child care vouchers. Unless you are getting paid 5 grand a month or more, I doubt it's worth it to put them in childcare. A good day care will cost you top dollar down here in Florida.

We've had our children within preschools in Juno Beach and Palm Beach Gardens and the typical annual rate is around $10,500 to $12,000 for a child under 1, and around $10,000 for a child ages 1 to 2. Tuition declines as they age, and by Pre-K it is around $6,000 since the child will likely also be in VPK for a half-day.

You pay for what you get. There are more affordable options out there, but the facilities and staff tend to be less appealing the cheaper you go.

I found a great looking preschool called Treetop Academy (I believe it used to be called Professional Learning Center)and it looks like a place we can trust. Anybody have any experience with this preschool?
