OK, i moved to St Pete and certainly found out St. Pete is NOT my style. even the north east St. Pete is not scratching the surface of desire. So tomorrow am heading down to my back up plan on Boca Raton and am in search of a nice gated with a fair rent (something clean, updated with a lush landscape and safe neighborhood, almost similar to ChampionsGate Orlando which i found very desirable)
here is my question, in Boca raton the more i go east past 95 toward the ocean is better (neighborhood wise, meaning landscape, less getto (or whatever the term that doesn't insult) or west of 95, and what about west of 91? any suggestion? how are the rent changes from east to west?

Thanks for suggestions

Rent varies.
What's your budget?

Dude, I've lived in Boca many many years.... I attended FAU, lived there after I graduated, etc.... all over the place from east boca by federal highway to west boca by glades and 441.

It all depends on what you're looking for. The city of Boca Raton is not a ghetto place....period. So whether u live in east of west boca.... doesn't matter as far as ghetto goes. They're both relatively nice.
Rents and prices of homes tend to be higher in east boca because of it's proximnity to the beach. Obvi, the closer u are top the beach, the more expensive.....that's anywhere.

West of 95 has many nice gated communities. It's not ghetto in the least and has many "lushly" landscaped complexes as u like ot call it....a lot of them sit on golf courses.

I reckon u best check it out to see for urself. West of 95 is more suburban.... meaning gated sub-divisions, strip malls, maybe a bit newer in general. Where as east of 95 is older homes and less gated communities...because it was developed earlier on. . .

I think your budget would allow for you to live in a decent safe gated community in western Boca...

I found Boca Raton absolutely beautiful and am glad to find it. You're totally correct when you said Boca is not ghetto. Everywhere i go, roads, communities, malls and nature is what i was looking for. Coming from San diego, (i know, i know weather wise is ...) i started at St.pete and its surrounding as i read many threads that is perfect. I DID NOT click with it and didn't find it my style even a bit. I was very disappointed and thought entire Florida would be like that (except Orlando, which i visited on the way but didn't want to stay in inland, and was almost close to move back to Orlando, ChampionsGate), then i decided to visit Palm beach county, boca. as soon as my arrival, i felt connected and found it very beautiful. currently i found a luxury 1 bdr, with W/D in my unit and all amenities i needed near Town Center Mall and Glades (within walking distance) for $1060 including trash and water. couldn't ask for more. I paid $1900 for 1 bdr in UTC San diego. overall, i am very pleased with east or west of Boca and its everything. Cheers everyone.
