I really need help understanding the differences between all the gated communites. Seasons, Oaks, etc. They all seem great but what's the biggest difference between them? We intend to send our young kids to public school, young Jewish family, spend approx $1M. I would love to hear from people who are already there.

it depends on what you are looking for...the Oaks is in West Boca and they attend Whispering Pines and either Eagles landing or Loggers Run for middle School....last I knew we have a friend who sold and moved to another development in Boca....Its very Upity and has a bunch of mixed ages....Beautiful clubhouse and amenities....the homes are Newer....

You also should look at Saturnia in West Boca they attend sunrise park elem and eagles landing middle...you have a long time I assume for HS so I wouldnt worry about it now if a house is that important....

The Seasons is an older community alot of the homes need to be updated for the money, the people I know who live there are happy there...the schools are Calusa Elem and Omni Middle

I would check Lajardins I believe is the community Don't know much about it other than nice amenities and beautiful homes...

Some of the other Developments are country clubs if your interested in paying the high HOA and Membership fees you might want to consider some of those....There is a beautiful development as well called Mediterranean now this is a beautiful community..Boca is very Jewish so you won't have any issues...

Good Luck to you

Thanks, this is very helpful. I heard Central Boca is safer than West Boca. Is that not the case? Thanks for the info on the Seasons, I liked the look of the houses but not sure I want to be in an older community.

Try MEDITERRANIA There's only one house on the market in there right now. There was another CD member that ended up building in Azura by Toll. Might work out well for you as well.
