Hey anyone here from the area i got a question.

Are trailers or RV's allowed on jupiter farms or Lox? I am planing on moving there and my parents might go with me if so i thought about getting them a big RV/Trailer for them to live in and putting it next to or behind the house. Are there any zoning laws around there against this stuff?

Jupiter Farms has no HOA so unless the town has something to say I'm pretty you can. Not sure about Lox though.

Pretty sure neither allows trailers (like mobile homes, park models) but there are plenty of folks living in campers in both communities. I wouldn't recommend buying a house on a busy street that isn't somewhat shielded from the road view though.

If you call, I'm sure it is illegal but getting caught is another whole issue. BTW both communities are unincorporated Palm Beach County, no towns to deal with just the county.

Yea i like the unincorporated part, i hate HOA, no town means less burocratic crap and less useless idiots telling me what to do, and no firearm discharge laws.

Firearms will still be a problem for you out there.......houses are only on 1.25 acres (avg lot) but that is still too close to be firing rounds in your backyard. I think they measure it from occupied dwellings, like you can't fire rounds within 500 yrds from a dwelling, most houses are too close together.

I'm quite 99% sure that Lox will allow anything as it is zoned AG. I live just east of Lox in the Acreage and anything goes here. People have trailers, shipping containers, RV's, horses, gardens, whatever. Things could change but I doubt it.

Hee, hee. That doesn't stop anyone from shooting off a weapon. Just last week I went out back and shot twenty rounds into my new burn barrel. That said, most firearm owners are well aware of their surroundings and don't ever endanger anyone. The only people who freak out are the ones who are scared to death of a tool that is harmless until a idiot picks it up. More people die at the hands of Doctors every year than from firearms. Should we ban Doctors?
