In general, how is Boynton beach to live in? What does one expect who is just moving there to live or even buying a house?

You humor me Jim, because you could be right. But there are still some decent areas left in Boynton. But like you forecast in 10 years doom.

The western side out near the turnpike is a very nice area.

Are there any other areas around there where you could buy a house and it's a nice neighborhood?

Depends on your budget. West Palm Beach and South are just one big mass of suburbia of various densities and neighborhoods and income levels, with the occassional small city thrown in.

Most of Boynton Beach is not a ghetto. Why would you say that the western part is becoming a ghetto? It's one of the nicer areas of Palm Beach County. It seems rather ignorant to paint such a bad picture of the city just because some of eastern Boynton is a ghetto.

Most of the city is better than decent and many parts have better real estate than where you live (in the Acreage). That would be like me saying the Acreage is becoming a ghetto because Mangonia Park is east of it, despite being miles of way and having no effect on it whatsoever.

I actually like Boynton Beach and go there to visit friends a lot. I wish it were a tad bit younger, but maybe that's changing..... ? Just that I liked other parts of PB better as well as other schools better. Just personal opinion.
