Most likely will rent for a year or two while prices continue to decline and then look to buy at some point down the road. Delray Beach? Deerfield? How's the compute from further south in Broward or north in Palm Beach?

If you work in Boca, then why consider living anywhere else besides Boca?

The differences in rental prices, if any, will not offset commuting costs, both in terms of gasoline/maintenance and stress.

Unless you have some other criteria ...

Just live in Boca. Thats all there is too it. You will be the luckiest man in South Florida to work AND live in Boca. The communities to the south in Broward are basically dumpy, hasbeen cities with soaring crime rates, and the communities to the north are beautiful to look at, but have similar issues. If you wanted to go SW to lower your rent a little bit, Coral Springs is not a bad option and it's affordable in comparison to Boca, and you are presented with a traffic free commute. But seriously, if you can afford to rent in Boca, just do it.

Just live directly in Boca or one of the better communities of Delray Beach. However, be cautious if you're looking north of these two cities.

I would avoid living in Deerfield Beach, it's time has come and gone... actually, I never remember it being a great city... there's never been any good reason to live there.

If you're extremely wealthy though I'd recommend Parkland above any other city

Question Moving to Boca Raton

I´m moving to Boca Raton, I´m opening a business and I intend to buy a house to live with family and a lot of pets (4 dogs and 2 cats). Someone could give me some sugestions about a good neighborhood to buy a kind of big house at least with one acre of area, around Boca Raton where also would be accepted to have so many pets? Thank´s.

What do you mean by that statement~? Does Deerfield not have a lot going on like Delray~? Is it not safe to live there~?

What cities are you referring to that are south of Broward~? Are you refering to cities north like Delray and Boca~?
